Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the rental of vehicles from GoZante Rentals in Zakynthos, Greece. By making a booking you agree to these terms. They are provided for general information and are summarised here; the binding rental agreement signed at handover takes precedence.

Eligibility & driving licence

Drivers must hold a valid driving licence appropriate to the vehicle, held for the minimum period stated for that category. Minimum age requirements vary by vehicle type and are shown during booking.

EU driving licences are accepted. Holders of non-EU licences may need to present an International Driving Permit together with their national licence. The lead driver must present their licence and ID at handover.

Bookings & payment

Bookings can be made online or through our team. Prices are shown in euros (EUR) and include the features listed for each vehicle. We require no deposit to reserve or collect your vehicle.

Insurance & cover

All rentals include insurance as described at the time of booking. The renter is responsible for any damage, loss or charges not covered by the included insurance, and for any traffic fines or tolls incurred during the rental period.

Delivery & collection

We offer free delivery and collection anywhere on the island, including Zakynthos Airport, the port and your accommodation. Please be available at the agreed time and place for handover and return.

Use of the vehicle

Vehicles must be driven only by authorised drivers named on the rental agreement, used lawfully and in line with the Greek Highway Code, and not taken off-road unless the vehicle category expressly allows it. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited and voids all cover.

Cancellations

As no deposit is taken, bookings can be amended or cancelled by contacting us in advance. Please let us know as early as possible so we can free up the vehicle for other customers.

Liability

GoZante Rentals is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the rental, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Greek law.
